All about Rosa!

Last night, in the fading light, I took as many pictures as I could of Rosa to try to make the shortage not so sad. I also got several of Sienna and Chica, but those will wait for another post.

Disclaimer: It had rained earlier in the day, and I did zero grooming, just took pictures of her in her "natural" look. Hopefully better photos will come in the future.

This horse has being cute down to a science.
Such a lovely girl
No longer fuzzy!
You can kind of see my reflection...not bad for a cell phone camera!
I suddenly noticed an opportunity to get all of my girls in one picture...even if Sienna does look like a growth coming off Rosa's backside:

It started getting dark, but here are a couple of body pics:

"I hear you kissing at me. Are you trying to get me to canter? No? Yes? I'll stand here and look concerned instead."

"Ohhh you wanted me to just look at you?"
As far as herd dynamics between my three, as best as I can tell: Chica likes Rosa, Rosa likes Chica, Chica likes Sienna, Sienna likes Chica, Rosa likes Sienna, Sienna...

Well, I think she makes it clear how she feels.
Somehow this picture makes Rosa look huge and Sienna look tiny. In reality, Sienna is the biggest horse in the pasture, and Rosa is probably the smallest.

It was thundering and lightning-ing (how in the world do you spell or say that?) last night while feeding, and at one point, the clouds parted to create a window in the sky to less angry weather:

So pretty!
